Click… The inevitable is fast approaching. I’m talking about deployment. I’ve known it was coming for awhile. My husband asks to be deployed every time there is an assignment change. Finally, the Army took him up on it. Yeah for us (total sarcasm here). I’ve been trying to prepare for this deployment. I haven’t really been… I see what u r coming from! I have the same problem, plenty of hours goes to waste just sitting and doing nothing. Talking to my self, crying and missing him to a degree my heart hurts. But somehow we r going to get throu this year long deployment, i know we will ! Just wich there were wifes in the same sitiation nearby, not many are army wifes here in sweden. God bless our husbands and bring them back to us safetly. mine includes learning to crochet, making some fleece stuff from some inexpensive fabric I found and learning how to use the sewing machine we bought at Christmas, I took the kids to Disney World last week for their Month of the military child promotion – 4 day tickets for military are $138!!!! finally drove the 2 hours to the NC zoo, and plan to hit the children's museum and history museums in Raleigh this summer. Also signed up for several summer camps, plan a trip to the midwest over the 4th and trip to the beach, courtesy of a friend's condo in June. Also, trying to keep up on yardwork, strip the wallpaper in one bathroom and several other home projects I have not started yet. GOOD LUCK! We are 9 weeks in and time is quickly ticking by!
