That just means Oscar Night is behind us, and I now have a list of movies to add to Netflix this month. I am especially behind this year. I still haven’t seen any of the Best Picture… What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? You’d think I’d say acting, but nope. Guess you’ll have to read to find out more. What is your favorite word? Right now, it is Awesome Sauce (I guess that is 2 words, LOL). I don’t like food service either. Our whole family loves Vin Diesel (in Pacifier and Iron Giant). I just added “Find Me Guilty” (2006) to my NetFlix list, because I heard it was one of his best serious movies. Have you seen it? I thought you picked three winners and three losers. The “3″ I was referring to was Best Picture, Actor, and Actress, so I thought you were 2/3 on those and I was 0/3. Oooohhh Pppycock! Vin = yummy! I almost said my fav word was nutmeat just to make you laugh…: I have not seen it because I heard it was his worst movie and I couldn’t stand to see him with hair on his head, LOL. I called it on animated movie too – Brave won as I predicted!! CLAN MCINTOSH!! LOL I’ll let you know what I think.  I love Robert Burns. (The link is to a blog I wrote about another Robert Burns poem I love.) I don’t know if I ever knew that he was noted for writing Auld Lang Syne, which always seemed to be a confusing song to me. Catchy tune but a confusing song if you don’t stop…  Favorite Things. Oprah has them. Julie Andrews–or “Maria” rather–has them. You could probably name a few of hers by heart. ….Brown paper packages tied up with strings.. ..Silver white winters that melt into springs…. I found lists in magazines like More and Seventeen, on sites like Pinterest, and I’m pretty sure Amazon Listmania lists qualify…. I forgot to add Woodstock wind chimes, dimmer switches, Pampered Chef’s smooth edge can opener, and those beautiful Galileo thermometers. But I think that’s it, all my favorite things. |
