We have been looking forward to it for a long time, since my husband has been deployed for the last year. We live in Hawaii, so vacationing to the neighboring islands is a… I LOVE IT! We do get caught up sometimes in our MILITARY lifestyle and forget there are others out there that don’t have a clue! When you were young and we lived in the civilian community I think they thought we were from MARS!!! Dad was never home and they thought I was a single Mom!!! Thanks mom. I have to admit, I was taken aback at first. But she was really nice and super interested. When you live it day to day, you do get caught up. I love how she asked me about the tv show. Her husband told her to stop! It was pretty funny! I have had so MANY asked about the ARMY Wife Show!!! Keep up the GREAT WORK! You are doing FANTASTIC!!! Love you BUNCHES!!!!  I’ve been learning a lot about myself over the last few months. I have found out how strong I am. I have been finding out who my real friends are in life. I’ve found that I can do ANYTHING I set my mind to. There’s still a lot about myself that I need to work… I love it and you! During our deployment this last year, I called it our year of perspective. We got rid of a ton of negativity too and never looked back. When you are going through something so stressful, you have to stay positive and focused!  My husband recently left for deployment. We are a Reserve family, so this is a pretty big process. He spent the first few days of his Title X orders working at his unit. Then, there was the BIG goodbye day. After that, it’s time spent mobilizing at another post. In that mobilization period, it can… Wow! I love your story,it is so similar to mine! My husband deployed last week,with his grandma who raised him dying unexpectedly 2days before. This is his 2nd deployment but this one is different because now I am his wife,just as you said. It’s great to hear how motivated you are because it is hard for me to even get out of bed some days. Our 3month is what gets me up and moving. How did I let you talk me into this military life? While some marry into it, others are right there from the very first meeting with the recruiter.
