Almost there….

I can’t believe it’s almost over. Not much longer and I will have my wonderful and darling husband in my arms. We have made it through another deployment. Being a Reserve family, I don’t get to get my hubby as soon as he gets in the states. I have to wait an additional period of…

I’m so excited for you Rebecca! I can’t wait to hear more!

Wow, you write just so fun and easy to read! What a great entry!

I’ve said to my boyfriend that he is not allowed to surprise me the first time he’s getting deployed (this will be soon already), because the first time I want to be there when he comes home to pick him up. I agree about the not surprising me. After nine months of training my husband and I are back under the same roof and I still want to look sexy all the time.
In high school, there was a girl in my senior class whose dad was doing an 18 month deployment in Iraq. For graduation she was asked to lead the pledge of allegiance. As a surprise the principal told her that her dad was going to get to Skype in for the pledge. Tgey showed her dad on the big screen. After she finished, her dad walked out from behind the screen! She cried, we all cried. It was the best part of graduation.
